Before Alta Horizon, I spent more than a decade in finance and business development, where organization, listening, and earning trust were central to every relationship.
Today, those same skills shape every journey I design. Behind every seamless itinerary is careful research, thoughtful pacing, trusted partnerships, and hundreds of small decisions made long before you ever pack a suitcase. That way, once you arrive, you can simply experience the world.
Some of my earliest trips took me across Europe and Asia, where I discovered that every place carries its own rhythm, history, and way of seeing. That curiosity stayed with me.
Looking back, the moments I remember most were rarely the obvious ones. They were conversations with strangers, unexpected acts of kindness, and stories that changed the way I understood a place. Listening to a driver in Croatia describe how growing up during war shaped his view of the world. Hearing a guide in Vietnam share a family story that moved me to tears. Discovering that the most memorable parts of a journey are often the people willing to share their own. Those experiences taught me that travel is one of the most powerful ways we learn empathy, deepen our understanding of others, and broaden our perspective.
